A ticket for the 2026 World Cup final has been listed on FIFA’s official resale platform at an eye-watering $11.5 million, as reported by Sky Sports. Despite the astronomical price, the ticket is categorized as a third-tier seat, typically sold at a much lower cost and intended for budget-conscious fans.
The seat in question is located in a corner of the stadium, positioned at the very top of the stands, offering a poor view of the match, according to the report.

Earlier this week, four similar tickets for the same final were listed on the platform for just under $2.3 million each. FIFA President Gianni Infantino jokingly offered to personally bring a hot dog and a bottle of Coca-Cola to anyone purchasing such a ticket, attributing the inflated prices to immense demand and the legal ticket resale market in the United States.
The 2026 World Cup final is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This edition will be the first to feature 48 teams and the first hosted across three nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
