The general director of Moscow Dynamo, Pavel Pivovarov, has addressed the decision to extend the contract with the club’s sporting director, Željko Buvač.
“This decision was made by the board of directors. We have excellent professional relations. He is involved in all sporting decisions. He is a very important figure in the sports department of Dynamo,” Pivovarov was quoted as saying by Championat correspondent Maria Kutsubeeva.
Earlier today, May 11, Dynamo hosted Krasnodar in the 29th round of the Mir Russian Premier League, securing a 2-1 victory.
Following the match, Dynamo sit in 8th place in the league standings with 42 points, while Krasnodar are second with 63 points. Zenit lead the table with 65 points.
